What we do-

We're committed to promoting the Game of Baseball! We promote the game and the players through our Championship Events. By providing teams and their supporters with high quality venues and well managed tournaments, teams compete with the best amateur baseball clubs in the Nation.

When do I pay the tournament entry fee?
All Dallas Youth tournaments are first pay/first play. Your entry into an event is not complete until you have paid the entry fee or the gate fee. The division may sell out prior to the payment deadline. The number of available spots in a division may fluctuate depending on the needs of all divisions that share the same field size. If you choose to mail a check to avoid online credit card fees please call us and let us know, do not leave a message!

Do we supply our own baseballs?
DYS provides baseballs for every game.

We play exclusively by the rules listed on the website.
We utilize outs instead of innings for pitching totals.
We allow -5 bats in 14U D2 and D3
We play all 13U events at 60/90 unless otherwise noted
We do not allow metal cleats on any turf fields or temporary mounds.
6U Modified - 3 pitches, if no strike out occurs, 1 swing from tee
Age groups 6U thru 8U - 7 RUNS PER INNING
3 GAME Guarantee - 2 pool, 1 single elimination

Pool and Bracket Games' Time Limits
Finish the inning on all games after time has expired, IF NEEDED
Be ready to start your game 15 minutes early
6U Division - 1:00
7U/8U Division - 1:15
9U thru 14U Division - 1:30

All Gold Bracket Champions and Finalist will receive Championship Rings
All Silver Bracket Champions and Finalist will receive Medals or Rings
All Brackets receive team awards

How do I submit a schedule request?
Please submit all schedule request using the schedule request tab on the event menu. We will take schedule request until the Tuesday evening prior to the event. You can block out a 4 hour block on Friday or Saturday that you cannot play only! Schedule request that are more restrictive than a 4 hour "no play" block will be difficult to accommodate but we will do our best!.
Example of a schedule request we will accept: We cannot play between 10am and 2pm on Saturday.
Example of a schedule request that we will have trouble accommodating: We cannot play before 4pm.
Teams must be prepared to play from Friday evening until Sunday evening, we will do our best to accommodate request.

Can we bring outside food and coolers?
No for Kiest Fields #1 thru #4
Yes for all other fields, participants and fans are allowed to bring outside food and coolers excluding alcohol.

Can we bring our pets or comfort animals to the tournament?
NO, you will be asked to leave the premises.

When are our rosters locked and what do I do if a parents forgets/neglects to sign the waiver prior to the cutoff?
All rosters are locked on the Thursday evening prior to the event. All players must be listed on the public view teams' page by the cutoff. Players that do not have signed waivers by the cutoff are not eligible to play!

Behavior at the events
We have a zero tolerance policy towards disrespectful and adverse behavior. Any fan, parent, player or coach will be ejected from the event for adverse behavior towards a tournament official or umpire.

Do I need team insurance?
Yes, if you did not buy your policy through National Championship Sports you must add NCS (entity below) as an additionally insured. You can do this free of charge by contacting your insurance provider. We must receive your insurance by the Thursday prior to the event (email to

2020 Tournament Policy

Our policies are in place to insure our customers get their maximum value and that Dallas Youth Sports doesn't absorb the teams cost associated with adverse weather conditions and acts of Nature.


All tournaments entries are complete when the event fee has been paid. Unpaid entries are not guaranteed entry to the tournament.


If you submit a withdrawal form below at least 7 days before the start date of the event a full credit will be available. This allows us time to plan for the event without last minute cancellations.


If a team starts 1 game a 60% credit will be available. If a team starts 2 games a 20% credit will be available. If the event is cancelled prior to the tournament starting, a 100% credit will be available.


Teams will use the online form below to apply credits towards a future event. Upon registering for an event a team's credit is not automatically applied, the form must be filled out after you register into the tournament. Credits can be used for Dallas Youth Sports.


Due to the increased administrative cost associated with issuing refunds and updating team accounts a 15% fee will be deducted from any actual refund. Southern DFW Events LLC host weekly events giving teams ample opportunities to utilize their fees/credits without creating the additional cost of issuing checks, updating accounts, processing online credit card refunds or absorbing any fees. Fees charged by our credit card processor are not available for credit or refund.

Cancellations due to Force Majeure and Governmental Actions:
Any event that is cancelled due to the closing of a facility due to governmental actions prompted by a pandemic, epidemic, act of war, police action or Act of Nature will be available for credit, but may be delayed by DSA, LLC ability to operate.

Credit Card Fees:

When paying with a credit card or debit card there will be a 4% processing fee. This fee is not refundable or able to be applied as a credit. The processing fee is a convenience fee paid to the credit card processor.

Credit transfers:

All credit transfers and refunds must be initiated by the customer by completing either the transfer form or the refund form. All refunds will have a $25 admin fee applied.
